Daphne graduated from Wilmington College in 1999. She went on to graduate from Mississippi State College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005 with a master's degree in population medicine.
Daphne has been practicing Veterinary Medicine since 2005. Daphne is married to Ben Hester and together they have 3 beautiful children, Aidan, Ava and Alia. Daphne and Ben live in Martinsville with their dog Bama, cat IxChel, guinea pig Turtle, and pet chickens.
